How to setup Mod Organizer 2:</p>

<li>Run setup with default settings</li>
<li>Run Mod Organizer 2</li>
<li>Click next</li>
<li>Select "Create Global Instance"</li>
<li>Select "Skyrim Special Edition"</li>
<li>If Skyrim SE is not listed, <a href="https://imgur.com/a/eDWPxws">click Browse</a></li>
<li>Click next</li>
<li>Click next</li>
<li>Select "Connect to Nexus"</li>
<li>On the nexus webpage, authorize if needed</li>
<li>Click next once linked</li>
<li>Finish</li>
<li>Click no</li>
<li>Click yes</li>

<li>You will no longer run Skyrim SE through steam.</li>
<li>To run Skyrim SE, use the new desktop shortcut or <a href="https://imgur.com/a/gRhUPDE">select “Run” in Mod Organizer 2</a></li>
<li>(You can rename the shortcut or change the icon if you want)</li>
<li>If you run the game through Mod Organizer, MAKE SURE <b>SKSE</b> IS SELECTED</li>
<li>Make sure the arrow is <a href="https://imgur.com/a/ZdEDHao">facing up above “Filetime”</a> in the Downloads tab</li>
<li>Double click each download to install it</li>

<p><i>Few Important steps:</i></p><p>In Steam, right click Skyrim SE and <a href="https://imgur.com/a/NoAjR7m">select “Properties”</a></p><p>Make sure <a href="https://imgur.com/a/9Vppy3y">“Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game” is deselected</a></p><p>Go to the updates tab, select the drop-down menu for Automatic Updates</p><p><a href="https://imgur.com/a/sVxiIHW">Select “Only update this game when I launch it”<br></a></p><p><b><i>Run the game in steam once and exit to finish the setup</i></b></p>

<p><b>Exit and relaunch Mod Organizer 2</b></p><p>In Mod Organizer 2, <a href="https://imgur.com/a/AJz6CSw">select “Skyrim Special Edition Launcher”</a> from the drop-down menu</p><p><a href="https://imgur.com/a/gRhUPDE">Click “Run”</a></p><p>Open the “Options” menu and select “Ultra” settings.</p><p>Select “Ok” and exit.</p><p><a href="https://imgur.com/a/3TXikMT">Change the executable back to “SKSE”</a> from the drop-down menu.</p><p><a href="https://imgur.com/a/gRhUPDE">Select “Run” through Mod Organizer 2</a> and wait until the Skyrim main menu appears.</p><p>Exit the game</p><p><b>Exit and relaunch Mod Organizer 2</b></p><p><a href="https://imgur.com/a/AJz6CSw">Select “Skyrim Special Edition Launcher”</a> from the drop-down menu</p><p><a href="https://imgur.com/a/gRhUPDE">Click “Run”</a></p><p>Open the “Options” menu and select “Ultra” settings.
